The Best Game and The Jammers’ Choice awards go to…

Last night at IGDA Finland Gathering we announced the winners of the titles “Best Game” and “Jammers’ Choice”. The Best Game award was selected by invited judges while the latter was voted by the jammers themselves. There were a lot of great games to choose from, and this time the honor went to the following games:

The Jammers’ Choice award was won by a game from Kajaani, a crazy, innovative and hilarious “Hyper Manly Rainbow Chesthair Shooter“.

The Best Game award was won by a game from Tampere, an innovative, graphically beautiful and promising game called “What Goes Around Comes Around“.

Congrats to the winners!

All the FGJ games are now listed on the Games 2012 page. Altogether 85 games were developed during a single weekend in 8 locations around Finland. That is definitely something to be proud of! The numbers worldwide are equally impressive: all in all over 11000 people made 2320 games in 244 different locations!

Many groups did a video from their game, we have collected them into a playlist: http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLFD951F61B5D157B2.
